KilKoVid Alliance partner UP Women Lawyers Circle (WILOCI) conducted a successful donation drive for typhoon/flood victims of Barangay Silangan, Quezon City and distributed on November 21, 2020 face masks, vitamins, blankets, and hand sanitizers. The UP Women Lawyer’s Circle was represented by President Arlene Lapuz-Ureta, Treasurer Atty. Pat Foria and Trustee Atty. Dot Gancayco, who is also the President of KilKoVid. UP WILOCI donated and turned over 1,500 blankets and 3,500 face masks for the affected evacuees and residents to Barangay Captain Willie Cara, in coordination with QC Councilor Freddie Roxas and Councilor Ricky Corpus. While the floods reached up to the second floor of some houses of the residents, the people representing hundreds of families who lined up at the distribution center in Bona Subdivision were all smiles and well-disciplined. An immensely smooth and efficient distribution took place, thanks to the barangay leaders and the beneficiaries who complied with the rules to ensure that those who most need help were able to avail of the donated items.
